i forgot to relate this story in yesterday's post abt my visit to the istana, Well, here goes.
As we were walking out of the istana, down the hill slope, we noticed this man, oblivious to his surrounding. He was at the extreme left of the slope and his hands were full with plastic bags from carrefour. It must have been an impromptu decision too for him and his family to visit the Istana. He was practically plodding down the slope, quite swayed by the weight of the shopping bags, swayed a little to the right and left, couldn't care abt the plastic bags that were twirling round and round as he carried them down. His young son was trailing behind him but he didn't bother. His wife was waiting up for their little daughter, should be about 3 or 4 years old, who was trodding her way down at her own pace (read: happily and slowly and in her own world).
The man had only
ONE target. He wanted to get out of the Istana grounds as soon as possible. He was focused towards heading for the gate. Obviously he was dead beat. Looking at how he swayed with the weights of the shopping bags going down on him and the way he plodded, he looked like he can fall to his sides any time! It'd be disastrous if he fell to his left as on the left of the slope is a steep gradient down to the golf course! It was so comical! Can you visualise it yet? Pardon me if my description isn't vivid enough. But really! Mb and I got into a laughing fit. It was so comical!! The thought of it makes me chuckle! ahhahaha ! And suddenly, there was a downpour but did he care? He couldn't care less. He continued plodding down
