i have not written abt my journey back home last week, think it was a wednesday, where the mrt that i was in since buona vista was delayed at every other stop towards the east. Each delay lasted for approximately 5-8 minutes for each of the 7 stations..i boarded the mrt at buona vista at 6:40pm and reached bedok mrt at 7:40pm. My home journey, which only took 30 minutes on any other day, was extended for an hour due to the delay at every stop from buona vista right up to city hall. After city hall, the train moved smoothly as per normal. It was downright irritating but now that i think of it, it's quite amusing nonetheless. What makes it worse was that it was the rush hour! Everyone was going home from work. The mrt was so packed. By the time it reached city hall, the crowd at the platform was overwhelming all rushing to get into the mrt. Madness!
On a different note altogether, American Idol Rocks! Haha! Love this show! Did you watch the audition rounds the last 2 weeks?!? Ultimate! But, i must applaud their guts!Don't they know they just don't have the talent??! What is there to showcase? The culture of "saving face" inherent in this part of the continent totally does not apply to them. Sometimes i wonder whether are some of the ridiculous performances deliberately staged? Can't wait for tonight's group performance!
What else is there to write? hmm..dum di di dum..oh yes! Yesterday i went on an eating spree with 2 of my friends. Had dinner at sakura cuisine at far east plaza. Right after dinner, we went to the basement of far east to have ya kun toast (yumm yumm) and finally had ice cream at haagen daazs for dessert..So shiok! :)
