The tomboy me - WAS!
i just finished scanning my younger days pics..it brings back fond memories..
more like funny ones seeing what a tomboy I was when I was a kid..In fact, since i was born, i've never had long beautiful flowy hair like rapunzel or cinderella up until Pri 6..When I was about 5yrs old or so..I even spotted a GI cut! I've always had very short hair..crop hair like the boys..So, as a kid, I admired girls with long hair, thinking these girls are so pretty..unlike me, the tomboy..the ugly duckling! hahah! I seldom smile also..most of my pics show the solemn frowning tomboy..i've always had the frown since I was a baby..If I am not smiling, then I will be frowning..until today that is! I didn't know I am frowning actually..hehe...tried so hard to change but still can't! And my family will always reminisce abt how naughty I was when I was a kid..the naughtiest in fact..it's a little tiring listening to the stories over and over again each time we have a family gathering with my aunties and uncles..You see, my mom's siblings lived with my family before each of them got married..so, they were there when i was born and they watched me grew up until I was 7 or so..and this was the period when I created hell for my aunties and uncles..haha! I was the hyperactive tomboy who could not sit still..I had to be up and about..There was once, I wanted to get out of the house..just to go down..so, I threw my toys out of the window so that I could go and collect it at the foot of the block..haha! That way i will be able to get out of my house..I have a reason to get out..
