Informal visit to mb's place

Last Fri, I went over to MIL 2B place at Telok Blangah after work sans mb(But of cos' since he's thousands of miles away). It was an informal visit cos' MIL2B, FIL2B, SIL2B and Brothers-IL 2B wanted to see the photos we took from our USA trip. We had a feast: satay courtesy of 3rd BIL2B, rojak india courtesy of DIL2B*ahem* and mi hun goreng and sambal udang courtesy of MIL2B..Mb's family is great. They are so hospitable and made me feel very welcome although mb's not around. Ms Honey Bee who will be the SIL2B and I yakkity yak endlessly while we were there! We can get along really well and I am thankful for that. You see, mb's families right up to his cousins are predominantly male while the females are the daughters-in-law.

While we were there, mb called from the States and everyone took turn to talk to him...I think its good practice to be with mb's family even without mb being around. And of cos' I have ms honey bee to be so thankful to cos' without her, I’d not have feel as comfortable..Oh yes, also thank you to Ms Honey Bee aka SIL2B and Hubby aka BIL2B for your wedding gift to us! We’ve got a sponsor for the wedding dinner cake! Merci beaucoup! :D

Btw, while I come from an all-girls environment, mb come from an all-boys environment and this is just one of our many extreme differences .. 5 more months left before mb will be back for good, insya Allah..
