Today in History
Exactly today in 1977, a baby girl was born in the wee hours of the morning at Toa Payoh Hospital. Nah, she's not one of the many herds from KK. She couldn't wait to see the world and so she came a tad earlier than the scheduled date and was therefore placed in confinement for 3 solid months, to ensure her tiny system is fully prepared for the big big world- an incubator it was. Her source of energy came from the drips and the tubes wrapped around her very delicate body. Boohoo!
And then, she graduated from life in the tiny box.
And about
LIFE (read: real), she learnt. Life is about relationships. She learnt about kinship, friendship, boy girl relationship, working relationship. The more she learns, the more she doesn’t know. She learns, unlearns and relearns. Many a path has she treaded on, rocky ones, smooth ones. And she knows that more is still yet come. Mistakes made, mistakes corrected, mistakes uncorrected have been a valuable learning experience. She is thankful for everything that made her the person she is today. Her family, mb, her friends, situations, circumstances that moulds her personality; she thanks them that has made a difference in her life in their very own special way. She will continue on this journey called Life, embarking on continuous self-discovery and shall continue to improve on herself as much as she possibly can.
