Just thought of sharing the following.
In TODAY, there is a small section on Family Guidance. One of its recently featured articles discussed the effects of divorce on the feelings of the children. This what I can remember from the article, threabout:
Children from divorced families, often felt anger and bitterness inside them, which they could not fathom. Such feelings are actually transmitted to them by their parents, without both parties realizing it. These feelings are more intensely felt by the elder children, since they most probably witness the "events" leading to the separation and are usually, most often than not, become the channel for the parent that they are living with, to vent his/her anger or frustration over the separation. These feelings do not live just for the moment but followed them through adulthood.

This is sad, really, especially with the alarming increase in divorce rates in the Malay-Muslim Community year after year.
Children eventually become the victims of their parents divorce.
What IS happening to the Malay community?
