I went to the atm, did funds trf back from 1st account, to the other account. I am not supposed to touch the 2nd account. both are POSB accounts. Insert passbook into machine. "Sorry Unable to Update Your Passbook. Please visit the nearest branch for your updates." Went into bank, queued and got my book updated. Checked and Wham Bham! The transaction that was not supposed to go through i.e Bank Did Not Respond, Went through. Money deducted. Which means, Double deduction from both accounts. Proceeded to customer service counter. Explained the situation, showed my receipts, fill in a form and am currently still awaiting response. This happened yesterday morning. Shall call them later.
I want my moolah back.
Please take your receipt even if the NETS transaction did not go through and quickly update your passbook to verify all transactions.
