I am thankful, Venue B confirmed booking.

Y it's called Venue B? Cos' it's my 2nd choice.

At this point, Venue A is still unable to confirm its availability and can only do so end of Feb.
While Venue B, has called to inform dates have been reserved BUT confirmation, must be made by this week. Else, it'll be released to others. I tried to buy some time from them, but transaction unsuccessful as there are others wanting to book the same weekend.
Hence, it'll be released if confirmation is not made.

I thought it's quite a risk to wait for Venue A's confirmation in late Feb. What if they are not able to accommodate to me because of their activities, that weekend being the start of school hols. After discussing with my family, we decided to confirm booking with Venue B. Venue B is not that far from my place, but Venue A would be the best choice since it'll be just a stone's throw away from my place. Anyhow, guests won't actually be going to your place, even if it's held near your place, right?

I must admit though that I am displeased with Venue A for their incessant postponement in their "supposedly" monthly meetings to sort out such bookings with their own centre’s activities. They have been delaying since Nov 2004. Grrr.

Guess such glitches in prep are bound to happen. At least, there's an alternative.
