meya joined us, nashy's best bud who lived just 2 bus stops away, and they liked it.. :)
We went to the outside of my apt and inspected the door, and the gate, and tiles. Yeah deprived us. Can't wait to set our foot into the real McCoy although I've already seen the live unit in a neighbouring block.
Fortunately for mb and i, while we were recceing for available units in the residence, we came across a unit that was undergoing renovation and so we asked if we could take a look around, to which they kindly obliged.
After internalising that the daughter and sister will soon be having her own home, and giving their thumbs up on her new residence, the family then proceeded to Chai Chee Seafood for a scrumptious dinner, courtesy of mom's. Mom's got a job now. Mom decided to work again after 1 and 1/2 years in hibernation. She decided that tai-tai hood doesn't do her any good. Her current job is relatively simple, a half-day job and she's enjoying it. She got this job together with her former colleague. Good enough to pass her time and she gets to make new friends too. :)
Anyways, with great food and great pricing to boot at Chai Chee Seafood, what else could we ask for!
