boss came and talk to me. And he's going to ask for a replacement soon from the faculty. While we have been coping for the past 1 year (albeit difficult)during her long absence from work,and regrettably now that she has left us, things have changed.

We've been covering each other back to back, planning our leave around each other's personal and work schedule for the past year. If THIS is going to be a long-term situation, we'll definitely not be able to cope. The staff strength in the general office has been seriously compromised. Period. They even rejected our request for a temp staff last year.

2 staff in the General Office supporting 20 academic staff and a total of 60 acad and non-acad staff in the department? It's been madness, I tell ya'.

Pa-kao liao is the name of the game. It has to end (I Wished). Or reduced, the least.
