back with a quick update..
got my house keys..checked everything..not much defects, being a D&B flat. 2 hollow tiles in living room and a few more in the kitchen.
Talk about the kitchen, my heart sank cos' it's minute, by my standard. It's rectangular but it's not wide.
You can't expect much from new flats nowadays, can you? But, the toilets are big. The architect must have had a fetish for toilets or something.
If only the architect could hv designed the washrooms to be smaller, the kitchen and master bedroom would have been bigger.
I thought, once I whipped up a storm in the kitchen, a sauna would be born. I still subscribe to the old adage, that the way to a man's heart is through his stomach..heh heh! But, the burning question is
When? Maybe, once a month? :P
since my kitchen size is challenging, my contractor would need to exercise some space creativity then.
But Hey don't get me wrong, I am very happy with my new abode!
not much reno to be done actually, since tiles are up, and washrooms are done.
Just the lightings, built-in wardwrobe, kitchen cabinet thereabout. i'll overlay my kitchen tiles too..not nice la..
Within 3 weeks, reno can be completed, my contractor said.
Since the washrooms are bigger, I think we'll be doing more shelvings to fully utilise the space.
Can't wait for reno to start! :)
