To anyone thinking of getting flower girl dresses, do check out OG, adjacent to Burlington square. Did my rounds yesterday with my sisters and darling flower girl in tow. While dear Farah wasn't too happy initially, as any child would be, with the long walk that stretched from OG to Mustaffa then by cab to Specialist and Centrepoint, she finally broke into her sweetest smile, after we got her the very pretty flower girl dress.
The quality of their dresses surpasses all others found in bigger departmental stores that we checked out. Materials used include duchess satin adorned with lovely crystals and pretty beads on the embroidery. So, it was worth it. The price was lower too in comparison to the departmental stores.
And, ive been thinking about hob and hood.
I like glass hobs:
And i'd love to have chimney hood:

But, given the space constraint, I'd have to go for the standard hood

So that I'd, i mean my contractor; will be able to construct storage space above the hood to store my truckload of crockery, just arrived in mb's shipment. And so, the weekend was spent sorting out the shipment, much to my glee, stored in BIL2B and SIL2B place. They kindly "rented" out one room to us to store the shipment - 25 cartons in all. We owe you many many! Heehee! For the record, I seriously do not need to get any more dinnerware for life!
Now, THAT's my rational talk, but we'll see... :)
Oh did I mention while reckee-ing for household items the other day, the price of the stand mixer by kitchen aid was atrociously horrid. Blardy ex. I know *I* wouldn't fork out
that amount of moolah to get a mixer. Mb was shocked as he said the price is much lower in the States. Damn. How could I forget to include mixer in my wish list? And Tefal. I forget that too. He asked me to check the Sgp price but I somehow didn't get round to it, and eventually he didn't get it. And wham bam! Again, it's so much cheaper in the States than in Sgp. The prices here really suck u dry. It's a waste really. Oh well, nvmind
takder rezeki. And I have been reading up on air-con of late . Inverter or non-inverter? BTU? bla bla bla. With the hope that I wouldn't be conned and be bought over by salesman talk when we get one for our abode eventually. As of now, unfortunately I cant quite fathom the things that I've read. It's errmmm.. too jargon-y, too dry for this layman
