He has been going to work early morning and returning home late at night. I thought I should have gotten used to this schedule of his, since it has always been the case all these while, but I guess not. Furthermore, he's also on 24hr on call and was triggered a few times in the wee hours of the morning in the past, before we were married. Certainly hope such disturbing calls won't happen in the future. Especially now that we are married. It's different, really.
And we have both been very busy clearing the backlog and putting our future abode together. We have opted for an ala-carte renovation instead of an under-one-roof service by the contractor. Separate vendors for different services, i.e. window grilles, air-con, electrical wiring, main home Reno, painting.
Oh, we also had our first 2 "guests" this week. Uninvited. 1 policeman and 1 policewoman. Apparently they received a call from the neighbour regarding a suspicious character found lurking outside the apartment. That suspicious figure was none other than one of our vendor who was waiting for us. Since we were late, he just waited and strolled along the corridor. We got a shock when the cops came a while later, when we were already in the apt. The vendor had to provide them with his personal details.
We had a good laugh over this incident tho'. We thought it's quite hilarious, really! Klakar betullah..hehhe..And we should feel a little assured since we've good neighbours who are alert and on the lookout for suspicious characters around the residence, shouldn’t we? :P
