Wonka Bars Anyone?

I had the pleasure of watching Charlie and The Chocolate Factory yesterday evening, complimentary of Takaful HSBC Insurance. Yes, it's Free, zilch $$ for mb and I ! Yeyness!!

The movie's a real delight!Everything is just so adorable and magical! You'll enjoy it through and through...

But I thought the oompaloompas could have looked a little cuter.. :)
And the star of the show is none other than Mr Johnny Depp himself, not Charlie (Freddie) unfortunately. Johnny Depp is truly outstanding! He's a character-actor don't you think? He always managed to pull off characters so well, delivering a flawless performance each time, think Edward Scissorshand, Pirates of the Caribbean, Finding Neverland.

Charlie seemed to be overshadowed by the quirky Wonka most often than not, me thinks.
Nevertheless Freddie still gave a brilliant performance as Charlie, exuding that child innocence and the sweetness that touches everyone's heart.

And the sets, Amazing! I would want a golden ticket too, just to set my foot in the factory.. *dream*

So, if you're in for a tasty treat which I am sure you are, don't miss Charlie & The Chocolate Factory!

Give me a Tim Burton, anytime. :)
