Chef No 1!
bread and butter pudding, but without the final product..forgot to capture the pudding! thought i did! but couldn't find the pic anywhere..ageing..tsk tsk..
..a simple and yummyz dessert!

Bread & Butter Pudding (Serves 8-10)
8 slices of bread, to cut off the edges
800ml of fresh milk
4 egss
100gm of castor sugar
2 teaspoon vanilla essence
butter for the bread
Sultanas (optional)
Cinnamon powder (optional)
Spread butter on both sides of the bread
Beat egg & sugar and add in vanilla essence.
In a separate saucepan, Heat milk till it boils
After milk has cooled slightly, pour in the egg mixture gradually..
Pour the final mix into oven safe casserole
Place bread (& sultanas) into the casserole
Bake for 15-20 minutes at 180 Deg C till golden brown on top..
Best eaten chilled and served with evaporated milk/cream and your choice of ice cream/peaches/strawberries..it's all up to you!..
Will try to bake it again and put up the final product here.. :)
Sorry forget to mention that i dun have a big enough casserole for the above, so i divide into 2 separate casseroles w/ 4 slices of bread in each. I guess you could halve the recipe..and the miss! :(
