we've been staying on & off at our own abode. Like this weekend that just passed, and to work today was from the North-East. The 2nd time travelling from the NE to our workplace. And it helps that our offices are approximately 15minutes (plus the jams) away from each other.
Guess we are trying to get used to living on our own before the eventual official BIG move, not that it's new to him but a definitely new experience for me, an exciting one at that!
The essentials are almost ready 'xcept sofa and dining set and the errmm.. mattress for the bed. The nights in the north-east were spent on 2 single mattresses bought from your ever trusty
pasar malam. The real McCoy will only come knocking this weekend(can't wait!), thanks to our procrastinating ways. current mattresses have been of great service to us, no less! Getting something new, cannot forget the old
mah! :P
so this husband and wife team has been cleaning the house for the ziliionth time and for the first time too yesterday, went on our first grocery shopping at PP, to fill up our so empty kitchen cabinets. From 5 items in HIS list, it came to a..errmm..100 (stretch it a bit..)?
yarlar must stock up on raw items mah...he already warned, "
buat kitchen sampai 38.5 feet, tak nak masak lesing." Cannot blame me for all the shopping mah! You warned me wht! :P
I should have stocked up 20 packets of maggi instead of just 2..hmm...

Anyways this klutzy, accident-prone, butter-fingered me, sliced off a tiny portion of my finger with mb's leatherman while chopping the onions at our abode. i took a picture of the horror too. Stopped short at uploading the not-so-gross disfigured left thumb here. heh! Showed my sisters and they cringed. Eeeuuuww!
What's worst, my potato with egg attempt was a Miss! Darn! MIL was around when I did this very simple but
tak jadi dish ...
habis, potong markah (minus point).
Boiled the potato for too long hence it became too squashy...
If only it was a HIT, at least it'd do some justice to my disfigured thumb.. :(
