It's been a challenge. But all in all, 2005 has been Wonderful.
2 major events took place in 2005.
First, and the best milestone ever was to be married to mb. Historic date: 280505
For the record, mb used to be an acronym for my boyfriend. As time goes by, with the multiple roles that he played in my life, it evolves into: my braveheart, my bling2, my bestfriend, my bozo (the clown), my banker, my bolster, my bag (all my shopping is dumped into his bag, not mine), my boy, my bear, my baybeh, my brain (cos' sometimes i am too lazy to think. i'll just chant:How? and he'll do the thinking) and the latest, menteri besar dlm rumah. =P
Verbally tho' I've been calling him Fahmy for the past 8 n 1/2 years and counting, while he has been calling me Tea - a more glamorous spelling for Ti. *chuckles*
Even his family members addressed him as Mi but no, i had to call him by his full name.
Old habit dies hard. Friends are bewildered. So formal they said. They laughed when they heard me addressing him since we don't use endearing terms to each other.
Hmm, maybe that should be our 2006 resolution? Oh gawd, tt's tough!
Next, was the acquisition of our own property in an ulu land usually accompanied with a resounding: So Far?, when told where we are residing at.
We love this place. And nothing beats home. Especially one you call your very own.. :)
While I prepare for the wedding over here, he prepares for the home while he was still there since we've already purchased the unit during his 2 weeks return in Dec 2004. We were just waiting for the keys in March 2005, upon his final return-for-good. Armed with shopping lists from yours truly, he'd get the home essentials. The prices of household brands like Corelle and Corningware are unbelievably lower, much much lower than the prices here! He bought our bedroom furniture from there too at a low price. He played a very important role in setting up the essentials for the home. Smugly, he'd say:"While you prepare for a 2-day event, I am preparing for a lifetime together." hurhur.

2006? More challenges ahead..it's gonna be exciting.. :)
