Ecstasy is in the house! The feeling that is.. :)
I have been eyeing this set for a very long time. I would not miss giving it my 2nd, 3rd, 4th, zillionth look each time we went into any of its outlets. Hoping very much the price would drop so that we would be able to afford it. Months went by and I still dont see my favourite 4 letter word that starts with S.
S-A-L-E.
In last Thursday’s papers however, I thought this particular set that was published looks and sounds rather familiar to my dream set. We dropped by one of its biggest outlets today, not hoping for much actually, take a look and the rest is history. :)
We are now waiting for its arrival early April.
Yes, it is going to be a loooooong one month wait but it is all worth it! I got my dream sofa at 50% off the original price! And the coffee table and ottoman cum storage too at 25% off with free delivery to boot. $42 delivery fee saved! Phew! Although we actually missed the free delivery mark by the tens, the kind staff gave it to us anyway. My living room is going to be complete soon! Lovely!
All these while, we have been contemplating between fabric or leather sofa. Easy maintenance being the top priority and of course the moolah that comes with it. And I have actually been eyeing this particular set from my favourite furniture store for a long time, in fabric that is. But the price tag that comes with it stops us in our track.
The beauty of this sofa is that it wont absorb any spills. The spill would just form a pool on the surface and with 1 swipe; it will be as good as new. Zilch stain equates to easy maintenance. Tried and tested! Mb has 1 t-shirt made from similar material, a gift from his US counterpart. It is very affordable btw (USD10) and it is in bleached white. For experimental sake, we spilled dark soya sauce on it and lo and behold, the material didnt absorb the dark stain at all. With 1 swipe, the stain was completely removed and the tee remained bleached white all the same. Cool huh? :)
Tadaa!

Alhamdulillah... :)
We are happy people..
Happy House!
