Returned yesterday night and I was not supposed to return to work today (am blogging from home now). But due to some unforeseen circumstances and much to my chagrin, i've to return to office later in the afternoon!...so only half am leave :S.

The mode
Our mode of transport was by a 25-seater coach. It was a 9-hour journey to Merang Jetty Trengganu and a 12-hr return journey from Merang to Singapore via the 2nd link. Phew!
We departed from Golden Mile at 10.30pm on Sat, the 13th of May and reached Merang Jetty at 7:45am on Sun 14th of May. It was another 2-hour wait at Laguna Redang jetty within merang, before we hop on the boat for a 1-hr ride to the resort. Each individual resort has its own personal jetty within merang jetty itself.
The 12-hr return ride from Merang to Singapore was due to the heavy downpour as well as the heavy traffice at Jb. We left Merang at 10:30am, 16th of May but only managed to reach Sgp at 10:15pm via the 2nd link! An Almost 12-hr worth of bus ride just for the return journey! Of cos' one can choose to go by plane if the long bus rides are just too much to handle....
For me, it was all worth it.. :)
