Since it's the month of Ramadan, we are allowed to knock off 1/2 hour to 1 hour earlier unless if there are work exigencies. All has been good so far..
I'd rush home and prepare simple dishes to break the fast for the day like fried macaroni or fried rice (Gosh, all fried!)...We'd usually eat the dish we had for
buka for
sahur too. Lucky for me the husband is a fuss-free man...hehe..There is also the back up plan i.e. 1 container of his favourite
sambal ikan bilis to be eaten with
roti for
sahur...and there's our dates too... A Must... :)
And my reactions to this year's
buka puasa and
sahur compared to last year's? A total contrast.....Last year, I got teary-eyed on the first few days of ramadan as it was the first time spending ramadan at my very own place, away from my own family of orientation, away from my noisy sisters. 1 year on, everything's swell. Fine and dandy... :)
