i used to be very gung-ho when it comes to baking kuih raya..Usually, at this time of the fasting period, i would have looked through my recipe books and trawled the net for new inspirations..I'd have at least some ideas of what to do/bake....but this year? I think i've been bitten quite badly by the lazy bug..hurhur... I told the husband..

"malas ah nak buat kuih raya. beli jer lah. beli kerepek sudah."
('m so lazy to bake any raya cookies. Let's just buy. Or better still, just buy crackers or something)

no inspiration. no motivation.

I see eidulfitri as just another public holiday and of cos' in celebration of a remarkable achievement during the holy month of Ramadan, Insya Allah...
I don't even bother to apply for additional leave and I won't.

Am i getting old(er)?

maybe. truly.

oh and usually i'd lose 3-4kg at the end of the fasting month. I see the signs. My working pants are loose already. :P
