remember the last time i wrote about wanting to cook sambal sotong kering (sambal cuttlefish) with nasi lemak? I didn't cook it the weekend I said I would cos' of my chronic procrastinating habit. I eventually did last sat. :P

the cili kering (dried chillis) were super pedas! but shiok!
mom commented the texture of the sotong was ok but could have been better if i had boiled the sotong longer. this is the result for being too impatient! :P
i tried to cook it longer when it's drowned in the sambal already, to improve the texture but wasn't of much help. Nevermind, there's always another time...
'twas also to welcome the husband's weekend homecoming after a whole week of being gahmen's son. He was pleased and tt makes me happy... :)
