baby's food prep

beef stewing in-progress. beef stewed with carrots, onions, garlic, tomatoes and black pepper.
When it's done and cooled, I'll blend it with the incredibly fuss-free braun blender and then freeze them into 2-oz and 1-oz petite baby cubes.
1 frozen cube will be added to his porridge. Green vegetables like spinach or/and broccoli are steamed separately and then blended and frozen as well. He'll have the meat/fish/chicken cube + green vege portion added to his porridge.
He eats more meat and fish, especially fish. He doesn't really like chicken.
I'd usually prepare for 2 weeks portion but I did some overload before and the frozen cubes lasted for a month.
this is what happens with an instant mom, i.e. yours truly. Freezing hazim's food into cubes really helps me to save time, especially when we are full time working moms. Then again, it's a personal choice. :)
for me, i've been freezing his food ever since he started solids at 6months old.
